Summerfield Stables - Horses in the community

Bess' leg was put in a temporary splint so she was able to walk into the horse trailer to get to the stable. This was very painful despite all the pain killers and was sweating from nose to tail and had stopped eating. After a late phone call to the vet she came out to give her Morphine which is a very strong pain killer. Bess responded well and at baout one thirty in the morning became much more relaxed and started to eat and drink again. We were very relieved. A big thanks goes to all who took it in turns to stay up with Bess through the night as it was very important that she was not left alone and she was grateful of the company.

    Bess

Bess is a favourite horse at the stables but unfortunately she has seriously damaged her lower leg whilst in the field and is currently at Bourton Vale Equestrian Clinic waiting for an operation. Please help her by donating money towards the cost of her operation as without the operation she will have to be put down.

An easy way of fundraising is to use the two websites below. Both will raise money for the stables if you use them when you are shopping or searching online. Al
