Lacey joined the stables in late 2019, having previously worked at a school for children with autism. They decided that Lacey was too big and unsuitable for the children to be around so Tilly has gone instead to take her place as a pony for them to handle. She has settled in well and is very popular.
Lacey came to us overweight (so fat the weight tape would not fit around her) and unfit, so over the last few months we have been working on her loosing some weight and gaining fitness by lunge work. She has over now started in ridden work and hopefully once her fitness has improved will be used as one of our riding school horses.
