Arrivals and Collection Process
To help keep our yard running smoothly for all of our riders, please take a moment to read through our updated arrival and collection guidelines below.
1. Arrival Process
When you arrive at either of our sites, please check in with a member of staff straight away so we know you are here. Children under 13 must be accompanied onto the yard by a parent or guardian, who should remain with them until their session begins.
Please make sure you arrive on time. For riding lessons, riders arriving more than 5 minutes after the lesson has started will not be able to join a group lesson. This is to protect the welfare of our horses and ensure the quality and safety of the lesson for all participants. We are unable to offer catch-ups or refunds for late arrivals.
2. Collecting Your Child
Please arrive 5 minutes before your child's session ends.
3. If Someone Else Is Collecting Your Child
If someone else is collecting your child, please let us know in writing before the session so we can safely release them. If this is likely to be a regular arrangement, please let your instructor know so we can add a note to your EC Pro record. The person collecting should also arrive 5 minutes before the session finishes.
4. Staying on the Yard
To help us keep the yard safe and running smoothly, participants under 18 are asked to leave the site once their session has finished, unless they are working as part of our volunteer team or have parent/guardian supervision on site. If you'd like to spend more time helping out at the yard, keep an eye out for our next volunteer recruitment!
5. Visitors
As the yard is a busy working environment, visits must be arranged in advance with a senior member of staff. If you'd like to come and see us, our open events are a great opportunity to visit the yard.
6. Accessibility
Please speak to an instructor if you or your child have accessibility needs in relation to arrival and collection arrangements, and we will do our best to accommodate these.

- For children under 13: Head to the arena (for riding lessons) or the green cabin (for care sessions) so our staff can hand over your child and let you know any important updates. For Solihull Riding Club, our staff will tell you where to meet them but usually this is either at the yard or at the arena/members field being used for the lesson.
- For children 13 and over: You may continue to collect your child from the car park, but we encourage parents and guardians to come onto the yard for collection.
