Building Work
At the moment we have planning permission for ten stables and a manege on the home field. This will be great as at the moment we have to do a lot of hacking in the winter and it is difficult to keep the horses fit for winter competitions.
The first block of four stables has already completed. We have to 12x12' stables and two 12'x16' stables with a 12' overhang in front to keep us dry! The Hall Green Community Chest fund paid for this project and have also granted funding for rubber matting to be laid in all four stables to reduce bedding costs.
The next stage will be to look for funding for a manege to make riding in the winter easier and in general to make riding for those with disabilities much safer. We hope to have a manage during the summer of 2009.
Lastly we will replace the block of old stables with a block of six new stables all 12x12'. In the future we will need more planning permission for a new barn to replace the old portacabins and a new toilet block.
Anyone who could help with paperwork to apply for this funding please contact us as we are always in need of help.

Stables Completed
The best part of the new stables is the large overhang which is large enough to tie the horses up under and to muck out and tack up with plenty of space without getting wet!
Indy enjoys her new stable.
Indy has one of the new stables as she has mild COPD and the new stables have better ventilation which is good for her breathing.
