Summerfield Stables - Horses in the community

When Alice and her Mum visited Bess today she was out of plaster and seemed very happy. She was a little sore on her bad leg but that is not really surprising considering it is only a month since she damaged it so badly.

This weekend there will be a sponsored bike ride to raise money for Bess. We will be looking after all the horses without using any cars! This means we will have to cycle a long way between the chase and the home field and we are hoping to make it to Rowney Green too! Please sponsor us as we still have a way to go to pay for this vet bill.

Not a clue when she can come home but I will ring them tomorrow! They originally said she should stay for a month after the operation so I guess it isn't long now....

Bess is a favourite horse at the stables but unfortunately she has seriously damaged her lower leg whilst in the field and is currently at Bourton Vale Equestrian Clinic waiting for an operation. Please help her by donating money towards the cost of her operation as without the operation she will have to be put down.

An easy way of fundraising is to use the two websites below. Both will raise money for the stables if you use them when you are shopping or searching online. Al
