Gemini came to us in summer 2018, from the same owner of Leo, who found it hard to look after his specific needs. Gemini struggles with keeping his weight down and also he suffers badly from sweet-itch so he is not the easiest horse to care for. Gem came to us extremely nervous and so we have had to work hard for him to be able to trust us. When he first came his main form of exercise was lunging, but as his confidence grew we began ridden work with him. He is now used as one of our riding school horses and is confident with multiple different riders getting on his back. Over the next year we hope to develop his canter and jump work, as he lacks confidence in both.
