Sophie came to us spring 2019. Her owners had previously rescued her and then she was used for children's parties, but her owners needed to downsize and also without work it was hard to manage Sophie's weight. She was overweight when she came to us, and so had to be exercised regularly and have her food restricted. She is now regularly being used in the riding school as a lead rein pony, and has become very competent in her trot work. She is very lazy over poles and jumps and so hope to progress her more in this field of work over the next year.
