Other Animals

Over the last few years Summerfield Stables has developed to include other animals, not just horses and Ponies. These animals provide an entertaining addition to our yard and provide extra skills for work experience students and for all our volunteers.

Snowy the Donkey

Joining the stables in 2017 Snowy was a beach donkey in Liverpool. He is very shy at the moment but is getting much more confident. He even took part in a Palm Sunday parade this year. 

The sheep and goats

We have two sheep and two goats at the stables. Gertie is the oldest, being at least seven years old and Panda is the next oldest at 3 years old. The two youngest joined us in spring 2018 - Crystal the goat and Tessa the sheep.
