Pony Days
Pony days run on Mondays during the holidays and on bank holidays. They are from 8.00 till 3.00 and participants will need a packed lunch
Activities on pony days can be quite varied as we are often led by the needs and wishes of the children booked on to the pony day. Activities can include:
Inhand showing
Dressing ponies in fancy dress
Tacking up
Grooming
Mucking out
Tack cleaning
Taking small ponies out for walks
Washing ponies
Plaiting
Learning how to lunge
learning points of the horse
...and many more
The day also includes a ride which is usually around an hour long but may be shorter depending on the needs of the children or young people - for example leadrein lessons for younger children are often shorter due to the age of the child and lunge lessons are very physically demanding on both horse and rider.
Pony days are £40 for one and £35 if booking more than one (either on two separate dates or booking for two or more children- so feel free to bring a friend)
