Today was Palm Sunday so some of us went to help bring Tommy the donkey from Umberslade Children's farm to the Church of the Ascension for their Palm Sunday Parade. Tommy was very good even when he went inside the church however he was not too keen to go back into the trailer to go home and needed a bit of persuasion!
We then stopped to help on the farm by feeding the animals and helping with the daily tasks. First we fed the pigs Surprise! Then we helped put the lambs with their mums and number them Baby and mum Then we took the hay to feed to the horses The horses were a little bigger than ours! Then we had lunch time and play time! Where did Jasmine go? Hanging around After lunch we helped with the chicks And we met Baldy the goose.. Then we helped with sheep herding... It proved to be more difficult than it looked! We finished by haying up for the night.

GeorgeI am the Chair of the Committee that runs Summerfield Stables. I like helping out with the horses as much as I can but I find it hard to find the time. Archives
