Today Ros Heidi and I went on a trip to Staffordshire (Heidi was off school and was helping out in the morning). We went to see a 15.0 spotted cob called Buster who we had seen for sale on horsemart. As we needed a bigger horse to take some of the workload off Merlin and Bess we decided to take a look. We didn't even get lost on the way there and were relieved to find the right place although Millie, who was also in the back of the car was not so pleased to see two other dogs! Buster was very good to try although wasn't really that keen on doing much work as he has been out of work for a little while so is a bit unfit. We decided that Buster would fit in well and so he will be coming to us after Easter but will go to Rowney Green first so we can get used to him.
On the way back we stopped in at Rodbaston College ( where I did the BHS Stage 1 Course). It was nice to see some of the horses again especially Wilbur.

GeorgeI am the Chair of the Committee that runs Summerfield Stables. I like helping out with the horses as much as I can but I find it hard to find the time. Archives
